HOPE (Healthy Outcomes for Postive Experiences)

Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences, otherwise known as HOPE, is a strengths-based framework that focuses on the positive experiences and relationships that promote lifelong health and well-being even in the face of adversity. By recognizing what is already working and creating more opportunities for connection, belonging, engagement, and emotional growth, we can help children, families, and communities thrive.

Fall Prevention Awareness week

September 21-25th, 2026

Falls can happen to anyone, but as we age, they can have a greater impact on our health and independence.  The good news is that many falls can be prevented!  Simple steps like staying physically active, reviewing medications with your healthcare provider, having your vision and hearing checked, wearing supportive shoes, and removing tripping hazards at home can help reduce your risk.

Take a few minutes to look around your home for loose rugs, clutter, poor lighting, or other hazards.  Small changes today can help you stay safe, active, and independent tomorrow.

Join us for Unidos por la Salud Familiar/United for Family Health, a fun, family friendly community health event made possible through the partnership of many incredible organizations!  Come connect with community resources, learn about injury prevention, get your blood pressure checked, enjoy Loteria, games, dance and exercise demonstrations, and discover services available to you and your family.

📆 Saturday September 19th

⏰ 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

📍CAFÉ 620 Lewis Street,  Wenatchee

May contain: advertisement, poster, and qr code

September is Suicide Prevention Month

Every year, thousands of lives are touched by suicide and mental crisis.  In September, we're reminding our community that support is always available.  Reaching out for help is a sign of strength.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available.  The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline connects you with trained counselors, 24/7, free and confidential.  You can call or text 988, or chat online at 988lifeline.org.

You don't have to be in active crisis to reach out—988 is also there for anyone who just needs to talk. If you're worried about a friend or family member, learning the warning signs and simply asking "Are you okay?" can make a real difference.
