Local Doulas Now Accepting Medicaid

In Washington State, doula services are now covered through Apple Health, helping reduce financial barriers and expand access to this valuable support. Research shows that continuous support during pregnancy and labor is associated with lower cesarean rates, fewer medical interventions, and greater satisfaction with the birth experience. Go to our Doula page at www.cdhd.wa.gov/doulas to learn more and connect with our local Doulas.
